So what did everyone think of the show?  I didn't get to see too much of it.  I mostly hung around the booth, my Dad seemed to go everywhere.  I didn't get to listen to any of the seminars either.

Did find someone who makes handlining spoons that lives near my Dad in Oscoda.  Have to talk to this guy and see if he pulls wire in the AuSable.

i thought the show was good, we were there on thursday night and got one of our buddies to sign up in DWF. I think there were less tackle dealers than in the past and the shows attractions need to be updated or new ideas brought in, but all in all it is nice to be out looking at boats and taking fishing in January

i was looking at the new lund predator. Did anyone else chack it out? if so what was your opinion?

i worked lance's booth thursday and i was surprised at how packed it was.  sunday my wife and i worked the LSCWA booth and again the place was packed.  heard of some good deals at franks of linwood... i stayed away as i didn't need to spend any money. :)   also for those that want short snubbers for handlining or off mini disks, the warrior lures guy makes snubbers any lenght you want.  i had a dozen 4 inchers made a couple years ago by frank at amish outfitters.  i really like these better than the long snubbers i have. and haven't broke like the 3 inchers from mack lures.
