As of this date it's 50. I had read that the "powers to be" were meeting next month to see about changes. Be aware that we now have a 3 rod limit per person on all Great Lakes waters instead of 2. Last edited on Thu Jan 8th, 2009 02:48 am by Lunapier |

Shows how much I pay attention, I always thought it was 25. Then again I can't remember the last time I had to make sure of how many I had. |

For the new 3 rod rule, does that apply for the river as well? |

Yes, but I'm curious how you would do that unless you long-line off bottom??? As a jigger, my imagination won't let me figure out how to use more than 2 at a time, lol! |

I hear ya, but I'll sometimes lay 3 in the water perch fishing. . . when it's really slow, until they start hitting. |

What I want to know is if we are allowed 3 rods that means we are allowed 6 hooks/lures. So.......can I run 6 leads while handlining ?? |

Michigan the law states that 3 hooks equal 3 lures, but in Canada, 3 hooks are 3 hooks! So stay in Michigan waters and leave my 'eyes alone. |
