I was wondering if any one fishes Belleville lake much?
I have fished it a few times, and caught some descent eyes, I just havent spent a lot of time away from the river or erie.
Any info or input would be appreciated

| I used to fish Belleville Lake but it's been a couple of years. I have boated a few Walleye there but the majority of the time I went there for Crappies. For a few years it was an unbelievable producer of large Crappies, mostly under or just around a corner of the bridges. I'd like to go back this year, hopefully it's still a good Crappie producer. I did land a 7lb catfish on an ultra light setup there once, that was fun.

| i mostly used to fish it for bass, crappie but have boated a few walleye in the keeper size. i just can't go fishing anywhere else than erie for the most part. more and bigger fish. lots of boats, but not many skiers that you get on the inland lakes. if you don't mind fishing canadian waters you can get into some nice fish most the fishing season. i just don't fish canadian waters any more. but that's me.

i used to fish bass tournaments there on tuesdays and we used to catch walleyes trying for bass. alot of points to go to for walleye's.
try the north end , where the dam from ford lk empties into huron river and on down to bellville lk.
there's a little launch there just past a bridge.not sure what road that is but alot of people fish there for walleye's.
that's where i would try .jig it, bottom bouncers or just cast deep divers.
also the other dam at the south end is pretty good too they say.
good luck
