Well did anyone do anything interesting this past weekend?
I took a Handlining wannabe out shopping at Andy's for the essentials. It's fun spending someone else's money. After that I showed him how to make shanks and what to do for leaders.
Broke out the fly tying kit and tied up a bunch of bucktail streamers.
I was going to dip the stingers I made for my Dad but my tube of tool dip dried up.
i poured some jigs, powder coated them (emerald shiner glow) made some stingers and watched a whole lot of salt water fishing on TV. lets get the ice out and lets go.
i did read on the maumee tackle web site that there are fish in the river and a few have been caught, won't be long now!
