WE ARE NEW TO PERCH FISHING IN THE DETROIT RIVER & WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP, WHEN & WHERE TO GO ETC.

| Haven't heard of anything yet. When they do start up south of Sugar Island, around the cross dyke and Humbug are good places to start. Have to keep moving around until you find the fish.

Don't know, I'm not a perch...lol
I hope soon, I intend to fish the perch tournament and I can only fish the river.

There are a few guys starting to fish around the cross-dyke and powder keg Island!! As the water cools and the weeds start to subside, the cross-dyke would be my choice in the river. Colchester is my favorite perch grounds though..

Chuck, why aren't you fishing off Luna Pier?? There are a lot of places to fish down there. Just too far for me to go from here.

| The lighthouse (Toledo) is great. The frshwater intake over off Little Cedar Point is fantastic. Ask Mel for ideas!!!
