The perch fishing is hot off of Colchester right now for those willing to make the drive. Two of us got our limit of 100 this morning, fishing a quarter to a half mile SW of the mile marker. No super jumbos, but all nice fish.
Canadian waters of Lake Erie. It's a half-hour drive from Ambassador Bridge or a 16-mile boat ride from Erie Metro Park. If you look at a map, it is the rounded point sticking out into Lake Erie about halfway between the Detroit River and Point Pelee.
