I am to lazy to get the rule book out so...Do we need to keep the receipt for the minnows we buy and use on the DR.  I fished Sag Bay this winter and you needed to keep the receipt or the man would fine you 50 bucks.  I heard it was a bigger fine for inland lakes....Anyone know the story?

Page 15, General Statewide provisions, Item 3.

A retail customer shall retain and show upon request the receipt for purchases of baitfish or roe from a state-licensed baitfish retail operation.  A receipt shall be valid for seven days from the date of sale.  Required only when prohibited fish species are involved.

I'm sure they find something that you don't have.

I went over to Windsor a couple weeks ago to get my license & some Fin-S minnow at Wally's & on my way back the border guard lady tried to tell me that for fishing in Ontario waters that I needed an I-68 or Nexus Card. They don't even know the rules so do they expect everyone else to know them?
