Once the weather warms up and there are no ice flows.  If that happens in February I will be out there.

as soon as there are no ice flows.  usually by then the park benches, logs, broken shantys have floated down already.  luckly missed a park bench one year that was about 1 ft under water floating down and saw it as i was running upstream on my side of the boat... have hit sunken ice before. now i just don't risk it.
