went out with a friend last night 8.30 pm, tried one drift by mud island in the small Chanel we got one fish & lost a few by the boat[my friend was not a good neter] 16 to 20 fow, moved up river to rouge river area mid river 40 to 43 fow did 2 drifts got 4 more fish , called it off by 9.30 pm, had to get up early in the morning, used plain jig with brown wyandotte worm before it got dark, then switch to bright color [chart, blue] as soon as it got a little dark, fish is still biting short, will try a deferent area tonight & i will let you know how we did. good luck every one, & be safe
