Hit the DR this morning with Carlos & John. Made a quick pass on the American side of Peche with no bites. Circled around the island and tried the Sturgeon Hole. I think we boated 4 on the first pass. Only picked up 4 more in the following passes. The bite slowed down by 10:30am and we moved on down to Hirem Walker, then to the sculpture park picking up 1 at each spot. Moved over to the American side for a few with no bites and then tried the Casino on a tip from John. Ended up filling the rest of a 3 man limit there. Most fish were caught on chartruse jigs 5/8 & 3/4, a few on Carlos's 1 oz cannon balls with black 4 and 5 inch yamamoto worms. Others boated on a purple jig & orange jig with minnow imitation plastics.
thank you dennis for the report i might give that area a shot tonight[in the past 4 weeks fishing in the day time was not good for me so in the last 10 days i was fishing the 2 hours around sun set and it has been great since good luck.
