Yes it is CDN waters. Here is the link to the OMNR Web Site for license fees. You cannot order one on-line yet. You have to drive over or order it by phone.

Mark,
How many leaders can one run while pulling wire in Canada? Have you been stopped in Canadian waters for an inspection of your boat?

| That explains the spoons used. I was concerned about the number of lines pulling wire out there last week. Thanks again. Heading out today for my Nexus card interview.

Went back over there this morning and picked up another limit and threw back 4. All the fish were between 14.5 and 16 inches. Weeds were bad, I would get a couple of minutes of clear water and then it was "Welcome to the Jungle" for the next 5. Flying Tiger and Purple watermelon caught the fish. I was also checked by the OMNR for their survey. I answered all their questions and then they left. I think she was just checking me out, she never marked down any of my replies on her clipboard. I also saw a woman in her late 20's early 30's handlining. About 9:30 am she stood up, took of her clothes and went back to pulling wire in her bikini......LIFE IS GOOD !!!

| No Bro!! That's called "Heat Stroke"!!!! It was really a 350 guy with big boobs. And glad you caught some fish. The gobies are in there thick and I think that's the forage base for these wallies. And I have been checked by those 2 in a light blue center console every time I've been there. 4 times now??? Nice gig, getting paid to ride around and get sun.

| Right in the channel in about 34 feet of water. I did pick up one on the shelf in about 22 fow, but all the rest have come in deep water. Last Sunday I was just north and to the right of the red/white lighthouse marking the Livingston Channel.

Mark,
Last question within that channel aren't the freighters with their wakes a problem for a smaller boat?

| With todays economy, it's amazing how little shipping is going on this summer. No steel mills working, no auto plants running!! In five trips out in the last 2 weeks, I bet I haven't seen 4 ships?????

Mark,
Fished Amherstberg the other day. Marked lots of fish but no takers. Using a 2 lb weight with a 20 foot leader. Maybe speed was the issue. Hope to try again and not one freighter. That really surprised us.

| I'm running a 1 1/2 lb weight and yes speed can be an issue there. The current is faster so you sometimes have to kick it up a notch to stay ahead of the current. I was going to head out this morning but the rain prevented that. I'll try again tomorrow.
