It's finally here!!! A tournament for Handlining on the Detroit River Only!
The FIRST Annual DWF HANDLINE ONLY Tournament will be held from 6 p.m. Fri, May 8th to 11:30 a.m. Sat, May 9th. Chili & Chowder will be served at the weigh-in. For Rules/Entry form, click HERE ]
2nd Annual DWF Handling workshop/Seminar hosted by Mark Schaller]
Due to numerous requests we (Mark Schaller) will be holding another handlining workshop. ]This one will start immediately following the weigh-in of the DWF handlining tournament and continue until we decide to quit. Location will be the same as last year under the Pavilion, behind the Gibraltar Community Center (29340 South Gibraltar Road, Gibraltar, MI). A special Thank You to Jerry Hinton who secured the pavilion for this event.
I (Mark) will have examples of reels, lures, equipment and how to make it all work available. There are picnic tables to sit at but if you prefer to bring your own chair feel free. This is FREE to any member or friend that wants to come along. This is going to be very informal so bring any question you might have and I (Mark) will do my best to answer it for you.

About the only place you are going to find one is on-line or at a garage sale. There is a sporting collectable show coming up next weekend in Taylor and someone might be selling one there.
