Welcome to the Downriver Walleye Federation Forums!!

This is still in the testing stages, so bear with us if much of it doesn't make sense yet

The purpose of these Forums are to provide an interactive and helpful resource to anglers plying the area waters (Primarily the Detroit River and Lake Erie although other local waters are included)

Registration is REQUIRED to post or reply to posts.  Membership in the Downrive Walleye Federation is NOT required (although highly recommended, of course)

It is strongly recommended that you use your real name as it adds a lot more credibility to your post than a "handle or Nickname" and will NOT affect your privacy since you still have the option in your profile to hide your e-mail address from view  If that is a concern, you might want to allow only PM's (private messages) where someone can contact without you're e-mail being revealed!

ALL of these options can be found under PREFERENCES through your My Profile button at the top of the page.

Absolutely NO flaming (attacking/blasting someone) will be allowed, nor will objectionable language, racial or sexist comments (this forum will be family friendly), attacking companies/products (opinions, both good and bad are OK as long as they aren't imflammatory)
Please do not discuss Politics and/or Religion as they have NOTHING to do with fishing and will be removed.

Any objectionable post WILL be removed/edited at the discretion of the Moderators and repeated violations will result in the offendor being banned from the forum.

Our intention is to have a friendly, informative meeting place for anglers.
